Professional Experience
Dr Theo Chike Osanakpo was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1978 and was elevated to the coveted rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 1997. He has been in active practice since the 1st day of March, 1985, the day the Law Firm was founded. He holds a PhD degree in law from University of Exeter, England. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom and a Life Bencher in Nigeria.
Areas of Practice
His focus area of legal practice is Commercial Transaction Law, Corporate Law Practice, Intellectual Property Law, Civil Litigation involving corporate bodies, Arbitration and Cross boarder transactions. He has good working knowledge of law regulating economic freedoms in Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS), Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Housing Sector and considerable interest in law regulating electricity in Nigeria. He has also provided legal consultancy services involving one of the oil majors in legal matters pertaining to Associated Gas Gathering Project.

He has held positions of responsibility at different times namely – The First President African and Caribbean Students Association, University of Exeter, England; Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, One time Chairman of Board of Directors Finbank Plc, Chairman, Presidential Special Visitation Panel, University of Abuja. Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Property Development Committee and Chairman, NBA Anti-Corruption Commission, Non-executive Director Kates Associated Industries Limited, Chairman, Board of Directors, Solserve Mines Limited, Non-executive Director Nestoil Limited and Non-executive Director, Matrix Petro-Chem Limited.
Honours
He has had the singular privilege of being knighted by Two Popes at different times with the exalted conferment of Knight of Saint Gregory the Great by His Holiness Pope John Paul II in 1992 and Knight Commander of Saint Gregory the Great by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI in 2009. He was conferred with Doctor of Letters (D.Litt) Honoris Causa by the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) nearly a decade after he served as Pro-Chancellor of FUTO.
Professional Experience
Jerry Elumeze is an accomplished Legal Practitioner with over 25 years of
experience, having been called to the Nigerian Bar in 1995. He provides expert
counsel on Company Restructuring, Intellectual Property Protection, Real Estate
Transactions, and the regulatory frameworks governing Oil Mining Leases and
Bidding processes. With his extensive expertise and strategic insights, he is a
reliable advisor for individuals and organizations tackling diverse legal challenges.
Areas of Practice
He has a proven track record in Dispute Resolution, with a focus on complex
cases involving Contract and Commercial Disputes, Oil and Gas operations,
Banking, Labour relations, and Election matters at both Trial and Appellate levels.

He is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association (Port Harcourt Branch)
and the International Bar Association, Jerry is also an accredited attorney with
the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
Professional Experience
Cornelius Dibia graduated with honours from the Lagos State University and
was called to the Nigerian Bar Association in 2001. Upon joining the law firm
of Dr T.C. Osanakpo & Co, he has worked alongside with other members of the
team on a wide range of civil commercial transactions.
Areas of Practice
He is a member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution, Real Property
documentations, Labour Law Practice and Probate Law and Practice Team. He regularly represents and advise Clients on diverse areas of law practice including but not limited to Labour and Employment issues, Banking and Allied matters, Environmental Law, Oil and Gas, Commercial Transactions, Regulatory and Compliance issues.
Professional Associations
Cornelius Dibia is a Notary Public. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of
Chartered Arbitrators, The Nigeria Bar Association-Section on Legal Practise. He was the 2022-2024 NBA Port Harcourt Best Performing Continuing Legal Education Committee member. An active member of the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria Port Harcourt where he heads the Trial Law and Advocacy Directorate and serves as Consultant to the fellowship Induction Committee.
